  • The FMR-1 Fixture Module Relay is a single-channel wire-in home automation non-dimming relay load controller that transmits and receives UPB commands and status over the existing powerlines. It's the ideal solution for fluorescent lights, or other non-dimming loads (such as motors or transformers), that need to be individually controlled but are not currently wired to a dedicated wall switch location. Simply mount the FMR1 in any standard electrical box by snapping it into a 1/2-inch knockout. The module can either mount outside of the box or reside in the box. Use standard wire-nuts to connect the FMR1 to line and neutral and the loads. The high 20A rating of the Fixture Module Relay can control any conventional 20A residential circuit. The FMR1 will accept powerline commands from any UPB-compatible transmitter such as the PulseWorx Keypad Controllers, Timed Event Controller, Interface Modules, Approved Third-Party Controllers, Touch Screens, and WS1s. It can be a member of up to 16 Links/scenes with the capability to store a preset relay state of 0 or 100 percent. Each preset state can easily be adjusted by the homeowner using the innovative PulseWorx manual programming method. Each Fixture Module can be configured to transmit status changes and inform the rest of the network when the Timed Auto-Off function has automatically turned the relay off. This allows the FMR1 to remotely control other devices or update indicators (LEDs on our keypads). Like all PulseWorx devices, the FMR1 can be configured using PCS's free UPStart Setup Software tool. UPStart enables configuring such parameters as Network Name, Network ID, Unit ID, Room name, Device name, default on light levels, fade rates, LED colors, dimming disable, auto shut-off time, etc. as well as test the operation and communication strength of the device. UPStart has the option to configure an entire network off-line and then download the information into the devices after they are installed in the home
